Here are the promises made by Jesus to Sister Faustina according to “THE DIARY of Sister Faustina Kowalska” edited by the Congregation of the Sisters of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mercy. (translation from Polish).
“The soul that will venerate this image will not perish. I promise it, even on earth, victory over its enemies, but especially at the hour of death. I, the Lord, will protect it as My glory! I will protect souls who spread the devotion to My Mercy as a mother protects her child: throughout their lives; and at the hour of death, I will not be their Judge, but their Savior…”
“Humanity will not find peace until it turns with trust to My Mercy.”
“Tell suffering humanity that it should take refuge in My Merciful Heart and I will fill it with peace.”
But the Madonna also spoke many times to Sister Faustina… “I know how much you suffer, but do not fear, I participate and will always participate in your sufferings.”
“My daughter, I want from you prayer, prayer and once again prayer for the world and especially for your homeland.”
Make the reparatory communion for nine days, unite yourself closely to the sacrifice of the holy Mass. For these nine days, you will be before God as a victim, everywhere, continuously, in every place and at every moment day and night; whenever you wake up, pray inwardly. Praying continuously, inwardly is possible.”
“I am not only the Queen of Heaven, but also the Mother of Mercy and also yours.”
“I am Mother through the infinite mercy of God. The soul dearest to me is the one that most faithfully fulfills God’s will.”
“Be brave, do not fear deceptive obstacles, but carefully consider the Passion of My Son and in this way you will win.”
On the day of the renewal of religious vows, touching her with His hands and covering her with His mantle, He said: “offer these vows for Poland. Pray for it.”
“You give me great joy when you adore the Most Holy Trinity for the graces and privileges that You have granted me.”
“Your life must be like mine: silent and hidden; be incessantly united to God and pray for humanity and prepare the world for the second coming of God.”
“Oh, how dear to God is the soul that faithfully follows the inspiration of His grace! I gave the world the Savior and you must speak to the world of His great mercy and prepare the world for His second coming. He will come not as a merciful Savior, but as a Just Judge. Oh, that day will be terrible! The day of justice has been set, the day of God’s wrath before which the angels tremble. Speak to souls of this great mercy, as long as the time of mercy lasts. If you are silent now, on that terrible day you will have to answer for a great number of souls. Fear nothing: be faithful until the end. I accompany you with my tenderness.”
One morning during Holy Mass: “Look with how much tranquility I entrust Jesus into His hands, so you too must entrust your soul and be like a child before Him.”
In preparation for the Christmas feast (1936) “My daughter, try to be meek and humble so that Jesus, who dwells continuously in your heart, may rest. Adore Him in your heart. Do not leave your interior recollection. I will obtain for you, my daughter, the grace of this kind of interior life so that, without abandoning your intimacy, you may fulfill all your duties externally with greater precision. Remain continuously with Him in your heart. He will be your strength. Maintain with creatures only those relationships that necessity and your duties require. You are a pleasing dwelling for the living God, in which He dwells continuously with love and complacency, and the living presence of God, which you feel more vividly and evidently, will confirm you, my daughter, in what I have told you. Try to behave this way until Christmas Day, and afterwards He will let you know how you should deal with Him and how to unite yourself to Him.”
“Know, My daughter, that although I have been raised to the dignity of Mother of God, seven painful swords have pierced my heart. Do not do anything in your defense; bear everything with humility. God Himself will take your defense.”
Pointing to the Child Jesus, during the midnight Mass, He said these words to her: “My daughter, Faustina, take this most precious treasure.”
In the Diary of Sister Faustina, it is read that Jesus attributes immense value to prayer to His Mercy….
Mary, the Virgin Mother of the Savior, still conversed with Faustina:
“Oh, how pleasing to me is the homage of your love.”
“Each one who perseveres in zeal until death in My congregation will avoid the fire of purgatory and I desire that each one be distinguished by these virtues: humility and meekness, purity and love of God and neighbor, compassion and mercy.”
“My daughter, I strongly recommend that you faithfully fulfill all of God’s desires, as this is what is pleasing in His eyes. I ardently desire that you distinguish yourself in this, that is, in this faithfulness, in fulfilling God’s will. Place God’s will above all sacrifices and burnt offerings.”
“My daughter, by God’s recommendation, I must be your Mother exclusively and specially, but I desire that you also be My daughter in a special way. I desire, my dearest daughter, that you practice three virtues which are most dear to Me and most pleasing to God. The first is humility, humility, and once again humility. The second virtue is purity. The third virtue is love for God. As My daughter, you must shine particularly for these virtues.”
“I am the Madonna of priests” “O God, bless Poland, bless the priests” then, turning to Sister Faustina, she said again: “Tell the priests what you have seen.”
“the true greatness of the soul consists in loving God and humbling oneself in His presence, in totally forgetting oneself and considering oneself as nothing, because the Lord is great but is pleased only with the humble, while He always resists the proud.”
